NetSuite launches new APAC channel program
Thu, 11th Feb 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

The NetSuite Channel Program is tailored for Asia Pacific partners and allows users to tap into the company’s cloud-based business management applications for firms of all sizes.

In addition to the introduction of the new program, NetSuite has also announced that Ken Bartlett will take over the role of Channel Director for APAC. Bartlett has held positions in engineering, business development and general management with companies such as Boeing Australia, Fujitsu Australia and a number of Silicon Valley startups.

The program initiative is part of NetSuite’s plan to recruit a small number of partners in APAC. To entice solution providers, NetSuite emphasised mutual benefits, including recurring revenue on subscription services and renewal margin based on annual renewal revenue, which is designed to reward providers for retaining clients.

The three-tier program includes a partner enablement program that uses both classroom and e-learning environments, knowledge transfer sessions and increasing margins that reward top performers. The program also includes subsidised live accounts and demo seats in order to help partner organisations learn and support a NetSuite environment.

The program includes the Advanced Partner Center, which is always available and provides access to lead registration and opportunity protection, marketing materials, services tools, and other process and productivity tools.

Channel managers plan to work with NetSuite partners to establish a joint business plan in order to get revenues flowing quickly.
