Google has created a Web site for those searching for information on people affected by the Haitian earthquake.

The Web site is haiticrisis.appspot.com and allows concerned friends and family to search for information on loved ones and allows those with information to post it online.

It also provides an HTML code for those wishing to embed the application on their own Web sites.
