The file types we accept:
Banner, skyscraper, tile/rectangle:We accept HTML, Javascript, Flash*, Gif, animated Gif and jpg files
Email banner and Email tower:We accept Gif, animated Gif and jpg files
*When supplying Flash we reccommend providing a jpg or Gif backup image for non flash enabled browsers.
The size of adverts:
(Width x Height in pixels and file size)
Banner 760px x 120px (50KB ideal)Skyscraper 160px x 600px (30KB ideal)Tile 300px x 250px (50KB ideal)Newsletter Banner 468px x 60px (40KB ideal)
Takeover panels:
Two panels both measuring 450px X 950px with a fade to black at the bottom. Ideal file format for supply is jpg, while Flash files cannot be accepted for the takeover panels.
Sponsorship logo:
A 130px x 50px jpg logo with a background colour of #F5F5F5. Room needs to be left for us to add the words "in partnership with".
Sponsored stories:
A short and snappy headline, approximately 600 words of content, and at least one image of 250 pixels wide and up to 400 pixels high. We will also need to know the URL to link the story too.
Making flash ads trackable:
Without properly setup ClickTAG coding in your flash advertisement, we will be unable to track it's click through performance. For more information about adding a ClickTAG to your flash file click here.
EDM:
HTML file ready to email. All images need to be hosted by the advertiser unless otherwise arranged with us.
Where to send the files:
Files should be emailed directly to production@techday.co.nz five working days before the campaign is due to start.
