MotorStorm: Apocalypse gets NZ release date
Tue, 3rd May 2011
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Sony Computer Entertainment New Zealand has announced that MotorStorm: Apocalypse will finally see a local release on May 5th.

Previously, the game was scheduled to release much earlier this year on March 17th. However, it was delayed in response to the catastrophic Canterbury earthquake on February 22nd, since the premise of MotorStorm: Apocalypse sees players racing through environments that crumble around them due to earthquakes.

MotorStorm: Apocalypse was also delayed in UK following the Tokyo earthquake of March 11th, although it released into most other territories as originally scheduled. The game currently sits with an average rating of 78 on Metacritic.
