Square Enix has detailed the Collector’s Edition of its upcoming role-playing game Final Fantasy XIII that will be made available to New Zealand gamers from March 9.

The Collector’s Edition will contain: a soundtrack CD featuring music selected from the game by composer Masashi Hamauzu; a hardback book featuring character artwork and CG rendered artwork and environments; three collectible art prints of Eidolons, those characters summoned by the protagonists; and a ‘Brand of the l’Cie’ decal of the most iconic symbol from the game’s storyline.

The New Zealand RRP for the Collector’s Edition is $159.95.
