MagnumMac in Newmarket couldn’t provide us with any launch details, only telling us it currently had no word on when it would be going on sale.
Apple has reportedly sent out an email saying it will go on sale “this evening” from its online shop.
“We are thrilled to be selling iPhone 4 in our Apple Online Store starting this evening," it said. "For further availability details please contact Vodafone.”

Update: Paul Brislen, Head of Corporate Communications for Vodafone New Zealand, has told Telecommunications Review that he can't confirm whether or not Vodafone will sell the new iPhone 4 from 12pm, even though Vodafone store employees are telling the public 'yes'.
Update 2: iPhone 4 prices go live on Vodafone's website.
Update 3: Panic over. Vodafone has finally confirmed iPhone 4 will go on sale – in selected stores and on contract only – from midday, July 30th.
