Update: Panic over. Vodafone has finally confirmed iPhone 4 will go on sale – in selected stores and on contract only – from midday, July 30th.

Vodafone's website is now displaying detailed price plans for iPhone 4, even though the company's head office refuses to confirm whether or not the device will go on sale today.

The site says that, "Online sales for iPhone 4 will begin in the coming weeks" though Apple is tipped to be selling it from this evening through its online store.
